Jessica Bank

Jess graduated from Monash University with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Honours) and is currently studying her Masters of Sports and Exercise Physiotherapy at La Trobe University. She is passionate about all things sports and performance with experience working in a variety of sporting settings including VFLW, Parramatta NRL and Rugby 7s teams. She has also worked on musicals such as West Side Story at the Sydney Opera House and Priscilla Queen of the Desert.

Jessica’s bread and butter is ensuring that athletes, performers and weekend warriors can perform at their best, particularly with footballers, dancers, gymnasts and circus performers.
On her days off you can find her training aerials, cheerleading, volleyball or windsurfing. When she is not training or working you might catch her walking her giant dog.

Jesse Pardo

Jesse graduated with a Master of Physiotherapy from Flinders University. He also has a Bachelor of Biomedicine from the University of Melbourne, completing his major research project on the physiology of endurance running. This has led to a keen interest in treating runners, including providing physiotherapy at running events such as the Oscars Hut’2Hut ultramarathon.

Jesse has vast experience across difference sports, including roles with Basketball Victoria and Melbourne Ice in the Australian Ice Hockey League. He has a particular interest in treating acute knee and ankle injuries. Jesse is also a nationally endorsed provider of Netball Australia’s KNEE program, as well the GLAD program for hip and knee OA. He has also previously had the opportunity to provide physiotherapy within a school setting and thoroughly enjoys working with children.

Jesse is passionate about evidence-based care, with a history of involvement in physiotherapy research. He is currently a study physiotherapist in a Latrobe University research study on the treatment of proximal hamstring tendinopathy.

Outside of work Jesse enjoys time along the coast, playing football and being a below average recreational runner.

Seb Evans

Seb graduated from the University of Melbourne with a Doctor of Physiotherapy and Bachelor of Science. Since graduating he has gained significant experience managing sports injuries and guiding return to play including as the Head Physiotherapist for the Oakleigh Chargers Youth Girls program. Seb has also worked extensively with patients experiencing persistent back, neck, hip and knee pain, and is a certified GLA:D practitioner for hip and knee osteoarthritis.

Seb is passionate about injury prevention and utilizing strength and conditioning principles to guide appropriate exercise-based rehabilitation.  His particular interest lies in rehabilitating adolescent sports injuries and low back & hip/pelvic injuries. Seb also works at LaTrobe University in a research capacity which enables him to stay on top of the latest developments in assessment and treatment techniques.

Jodie Porter

Jodie graduated with Honours from The University of Melbourne in 2004. She has since completed a double Masters of Sports Physiotherapy and Masters of Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy at Latrobe University. Jodie has a keen interest in rowing, using experience from coaching and treatment of national squads to deliver first class outcomes. She has established a thorough understanding of rowing injury prevention and correct technique. Additionally, she has particular interest in running and riding technique and neck and upper back pain and injury. She has worked with VAFA Premier Division teams Collegians Football Club and Old Scotch Football Club and was awarded the VAFA Trainer of the Year in 2014. Jodie loves working with children and adolescents to help achieve their sporting dreams.

Brad Harrigan

Since graduating from Melbourne University in 2004, Brad has worked at a range of private practices, hospitals and sporting clubs in both Australia and London. He has extensive experience with sporting teams at the local and elite level, including work with the Hawthorn Football Club during their 2013 premiership season and the Australian Institute of Sport looking after the Men’s volleyball team at the 2013 national championships.  He is currently the head physiotherapist for the St Kevin’s Old Boys Football Club. Brad for several years also served on the Victorian council of SMA.

Brad’s special interests reflect his background working in elite sport, specifically treating and rehabilitating sports related knee, spinal and shoulder injuries. He’s also keenly interested in lower limb tendinopathies and running biomechanics.

Outside work Brad loves going running, surfing and playing with kids. If he’s lucky, he might squeeze tennis in somewhere too.

Amy Lind

Amy graduated with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Honours) from Monash University. Since graduating, Amy has worked in upper limb trauma and hand therapy, gaining specialist experience in managing upper limb injuries and fractures for both elite sports people and the general population. 

Amy is passionate about empowering others to engage in exercise for both their physical and mental wellbeing. She has a keen interest in women’s health and has also worked alongside sporting clubs including the Victorian Indoor Netball Team. 

Outside of work, Amy enjoys her role as a mentor for Eating Disorders Victoria and loves heading to the beach, hiking and growing her own veggies.

Zoe Theodorakopoulos

Zoe graduated from La Trobe University with a Bachelor of Applied Science and Masters in Podiatric Practice. Zoe has extensive experience having worked in hospitals, community health, aged care and private practice environments which has allowed her to develop a skillset that meets and exceeds the individual needs and requirements of all her patients.

Zoe is a passionate and professionally minded practitioner, dedicated to ensuring her patients are provided with the best podiatry care, whether this involves helping people getting on with their day to day lives or high performing athletes who are seeking help with injury management. She has taken a particular interest in lower limb musculoskeletal injuries and enjoys having individuals back to sport or physical activity that they enjoy. Zoe also has extensive knowledge with footwear selection.

Outside of work, Zoe spends a lot of time playing competitive tennis, running and enjoying time with family and friends.

Ben Howell

Ben graduated from RMIT after completing his Diploma of Remedial Massage and Advanced Diploma of Myotherapy. Since graduating Ben has gone on to work with a varied patient base including athletes in the AFL, AFLW, Rugby union and Rugby League as well as private and community based practices.

Ben has a committed approach to addressing and treating musculoskeletal dysfunction of many kinds such as neck, hip, back, shoulder and forearm pain with a particular focus on hip and shoulder pain due to his many years of elite competitive archery.

Ben is trained in myofascial cupping, dry needling, myofascial release, sports massage and relaxation techniques. Ben is also a qualified sports trainer and employs these skills in conjunction with any treatments he provides as necessary.

Outside of work Ben is an avid golfer and also enjoys practising his archery as well as spending time with his family and pets..

Alex Stone

Alex graduated from Monash University with a Master of Dietetics and a Bachelor of Nutrition Science to become an Accredited Practicing Dietitian (APD). She also completed a Bachelor of Applied Science at Deakin University, majoring in Psychology. Since graduating, Alex has also completed the Monash University FODMAP IBS Training for Dietitians.

Alex enjoys combining her background in Psychology and Dietetics to create a holistic approach when helping her clients achieve their goals. She works to create a compassionate and non-judgemental environment in order to assist her clients in developing achievable and sustainable lifestyle changes to feel their best selves.

Alex is particularly interested in Sports Nutrition; she was part of the Nutrition Team for both St. Kilda Football Club and Sandringham Football Club for 3 seasons. From the 2021 season, Alex joined Williamstown Football Club as their Head Dietitian and Hawthorn Football Club in their Nutrition Team. She is also a Rowing Coach at Caulfield Grammar School.

In her free time, Alex can often be found searching Melbourne cafes for the best avocado on toast.

Hand Therapists

Hamish Anderson

Hamish graduated from La Trobe University with a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy in 1995. After graduating, he worked in New York, and it was here over the next 5 years that he developed his focus on the management of hand injuries. In 2001 he qualified as a Certified Hand Therapist, which is the highest international recognition of hand therapy skills available.

Since his return to Australia, Hamish has worked in both private and public practices including time as the senior hand therapy clinician at both St. Vincent’s Hospital and the Austin Hospital. Hamish’s interests in hand therapy has a strong focus on the management of sports injuries, and wrist pain. He has been the resident hand therapist for the Hawthorn Football Club since 2013, and Carlton AFL Women’s Football team since 2019.  As well as football he regularly treats elite athletes from all sports including tennis, golf and rock climbing.  He has presented his research at a national and international level on the management of hand injury in sport.

When not at work, Hamish volunteers as the President Elect for the Australian Hand Therapy Association.  He plays veterans football and surfs whenever his family give him some time off!
