Message from the SportsFit Directors

First we would like to send out a massive thank you to our SportsFit team, all our clients and the local community. It is strange and difficult times for us all, but together we will get through this.

Our SportsFit clients are number one!

Thank you to all the clients who continue to support us during this time. To see so many of our clients using online services and so quickly adapting to this new style has been unbelievable. Clients that require face-face services have all been implementing our new hygiene procedures and following appropriate social distancing.

We really appreciate your patience and understanding- especially when our phones weren’t always getting answered straight away. It is with your continued support we have been able to stay open and continue providing a lot of our health services.

The SportsFit team is the best!

We always knew we had a great team, but the last 2 months has further highlighted the amazing people we have and how much everyone contributes to our team. There has been some big changes to how our clinic is currently operating and it is sad and unusual not to see everyone’s faces in the clinic currently. All our team have been fantastic throughout this whole process and we appreciate the understanding and support you all have continued to provide. Without our team, we would not have been able to implement so many of our new changes.

A big cheer to our local community

It is important we look at a lot of the positives that will come out of this current situation. For our local community  of Glen Iris, East Malvern and Ashburton, it is amazing the support people are giving each other and to your local businesses.

To see many of you doing exercise and being active is fantastic- especially for people that previously struggled to find the time. Another big positive is seeing so many families spending quality time together- whether that’s out on walks or bike rides. We hope to see these great habits continue when our lives return back to normal.

We are not over this yet, and we understand there still lays some challenges ahead for many, such as working from home and juggling home-schooling.  We encourage you all:

  • Stay active
  • Continue your social distancing but remember you can always smile and say hello from a distance of 1.5 metres
  • Look after your health
  • Stay positive
