28 Apr COVID Update April 2022
As many of you are aware, the Victorian government issued further easing of COVID restrictions from the 23rd April 2022. How does this impact us and our clients at SportsFit?
1) Clients are not required to check-in or show their vaccination status
Businesses are no longer required to have people check-in using the Services Victoria App. Also it is no longer mandated that you must be fully-vaccinated to COVID to attend certain premises. Please note it is still mandated for health staff to remain fully-vaccinated, and all staff at SportsFit have had the required minimum x3 vaccination doses.
2. Masks are still required by clients and staff
Despite masks no longer required in many settings, there is no change to the mask rules to health clinics. As we are deemed a sensitive setting, all staff and clients are still required to wear a mask.
3. If you are a close contact, you are not allowed to attend the clinic for treatment.
Close contacts are no longer required to isolate, provided you have no COVID-like symptoms and have a negative RAT test. Though there is still limitations and requirements on where close contacts are allowed to go. Our clinic is a business you cannot attend while deemed a close contact for 7 days (even with no symptoms and negative RAT tests). Read more HERE on what is classified as a close-contact.
If you are a close contact and have an upcoming appointment, please call the clinic to either reschedule or alternatively change to a telehealth appointment. Read more HERE about what Telehealth we offer.
