A massive thank you to all the participants in our Isolation Fun Run over the weekend.

Together we helped raise $2,925 to donate to the awesome charity headspace Hawthorn.

This event had participants from not only in Melbourne, but across the Mornington Peninsula, Bellarine Peninsula and even inter-state! Whether it was walking 5km or running a half marathon, you should all be proud of your efforts.  It was so amazing to also see some of the personal achievements on the weekend including personal-best times and people running their longest distance ever. A special shout out should also go to Lauren Kelly, who set-up a personal donation page on facebook and raised over $1,500 for headspace Hawthorn. 

Never has our mental health and physical health seemed so important than the testing times many of us are facing currently. This event was created during the 1st lockdown in Australia, to both help support a worthy charity and to personally provide a supportive group to motivate and keep people exercising for their own health. Now that parts of Victoria are back into Stage 3 Lockdown, we hope this has inspired people to continue walking/running/exercising.

We will continue our SportsFit Fun Run Club on Strava, and encourage anyone to join. Here you can log your activities (including walking, running, riding) and each month we will set challenges and goals for people to aim for. Contact us HERE if you’d like more details on how to join.
