Meal Planning at SportsFit
At SportsFit Physio and Health, we understand the importance of food in achieving your health and wellbeing goals. That is why our qualified nutritionist, Issy, offers personalised meal planning services to fit your lifestyle, preferences and health needs.

What is Meal Planning?
Meal planning is a strategic approach to eating that ensures you are getting the right balance of nutrients to support your individual goals and needs. It involves the decisions, organisation and preparation needed to ensure you have all your meals planned and ready for a specific time frame.
A tailored meal plan can simplify decision making and can help you:
- Take the guesswork out of what to eat
- Save time and money by reducing food waste and last-minute choices
- Balance macronutrients and portion sizes
- Stay accountable to your health goals
Depending on your goals and medical history, our Nutritionist will teach you the skills to plan realistic and achievable meals that meet your individual nutritional needs. You will then be given a balanced and easy to follow meal plan, in the form of either a 7-day, 14-day or 28-day plan. Additionally, our meal plans will include specific recipes for you to follow!
Who is Meal Planning for?
Meal planning can benefit anyone, but it is especially valuable if you:
- Feel overwhelmed by conflicting nutrition advice
- Struggle to find time to prepare healthy meals
- Want to optimise your diet for athletic performance
- Are experiencing low energy levels
- Are managing food intolerances or allergies
- Want to achieve a desired weight
- Need support transitioning to a vegetarian, vegan or other specialised diet

What Should I Expect at my Appointment?
Your meal planning journey will begin with a comprehensive nutrition consultation. Our nutritionist will outline your exact nutritional needs, provide you with guidance on what to eat and when, and overall empower you with the knowledge to put these recommendations in place. Specifically, during this consult our nutritionist will run through the following with you:
- Your goals – We will discuss what you want to achieve and how the meal plan can support you in reaching these goals
- Your history – We will review your health history, your current eating habits, your lifestyle (work, school, sport and exercise), any food intolerances and allergies, as well as your food preferences
- Information and Guidance – Our nutritionist will provide tailored, evidence-based information relevant to your goals and situation. You may also receive helpful resources and have the opportunity to ask any questions
- Goal Setting – Together, we will establish achievable and sustainable nutrition goals that align with your priorities.
After this initial consult, our nutritionist will create your personalised meal plan based on your goals, and situation. The meal plan will either be 7-days, 14-days or 28-days long, and include meal ideas, portion sizes and recipes. Nutrition isn’t one-size fits all so we will check in regularly and book in follow up appointments to adjust your plan, work through challenges and keep you on track to achieving your goals!
