FAQ’s

How do I make an appointment?

Appointments can be made through our online booking system or by calling (03) 8840 8066

How long is a consultation?

It depends on the service.  Our standard services are 30 minutes for initial and subsequent consultations, however we do offer longer (60 minute) appointments for those that may have 2 or more conditions or require more time.  Our Pilates classes run for one hour.

Do I need a referral?

No, you do not need any referral to attend any of our services, unless you are claiming under compensable bodies such as DVA or a Medicare EPC plan.

What type of hands-on treatments do you offer?

Treatments vary depending on the condition.  Our team is highly skilled in a variety of treatments including mobilization, stretching, dry needling, manipulation, taping, Mulligan, MET etc.  Treatment choices are determined by what is most appropriate and used once you are well informed and provide consent.

How many sessions will I need?

This depends on your injury and is made clearer after your initial assessment.  Some people may only require one session while others require more intense rehabilitation.  We are strong believers in education and promoting self-management techniques so you spend less time in the clinic and more time staying LifeFit.

What times do you run Clinical Exercise, Pilates classes?
Download our Group Exercise Timetable

We are planning on running more classes and are happy to receive feedback on suitable times for future classes.

We have HICAPs facilities that accept all major private insurers.  So if you have appropriate cover, you can swipe your card on the day of your appointment and will only need to pay the remaining gap.
