She has also contributed to various research projects in a number of nutrition settings. Alex assisted in evaluating a social enterprise created to respond to food insecurity, which was later published. She also travelled to Alice Springs to assist in a study for ultra-endurance runners.

In the hospital setting, Alex gained experience by working to improve the nutritional status of patients with renal disease, respiratory conditions, and malnutrition.

Alex has Italian heritage, where great food brings loved ones together over a meal and is a joyful part of the day. She hopes to bring this zest for food to her consultations, assisting her clients to achieve their goals by working together to make achievable and sustainable lifestyle changes in a compassionate and non-judgmental way.

In her free time, Alex can often be found searching Melbourne cafes for the best avocado on toast. She is also a keen traveller – always looking to explore local cuisines while abroad.

Currently Alex providing Dietitian and Nutrition appointments in Glen Iris and Malvern East on Monday mornings and Tuesday evenings. You can book online HERE or call our friendly reception on 8840 8066.
