Why archies?
In healthcare, we understand the benefits of supportive footwear and it’s impact on the body. Often footwear can be a contributing factor to many lower limb or back conditions. By changing shoes or adding extra support (eg. orthotics, wedges, heel rises) we have seen significant positive impacts on people’s recoveries.
During the warmer days many of us choose to wear open shoes (thongs, sandals etc). How easy is to to just slip on a pair of thongs and head out the door. There are many great options for sandals, but how supportive is your ‘traditional’ thong?
Archies arch-support thongs are designed by a physiotherapist and:
- Provide up to 2.2cm of real arch support. This is like wearing an off-the-shelf orthotic.
- Are a one-piece design- meaning no plugs and less likely to blow out.
- Provide adjust strap and support to minimise toe clawing
- Super light, durable and comfortable
